"CardiBCardibCardi B!" Is all my internal monologue was absolutely SCHUREEAMING, after witnessing the styling that was done for her latest music videos for her song "Enough" and "Like What".
First off, we have to name the brains behind the operation;Lead Stylist Kollin Carter, anf assistant stylist Juan Mario Ortiz and Posh Mckoy ,absolutely did not miss with the styling and creative direction for Cardi's looks. Far removed from the actual chaos and work of the styling world, Ive been silently watching and admiring the work of these stylists for sometime. Witnessing them pull from some of the most (personally) coveted brands like Jordon Willis was a treat. The all black ensemble Cardi Appears in,is a Jordon Willis Body suit. The boots? A pair of decked out, reworked Balenciaga Boots ( which fun fact weigh 13 pounds!). The boots are truly one of a kind- embedded with everything from silver vintage mens rings, to silver safety pins strategically placed in an aesthetically pleasing way.

The swarovski Crystal look, was indirectly, admittedly a labor of love. Custom boots seem to be a running theme for many of these outfits! These amazing creations were custom made for Cardi. Over 75,000 Swarovski crystals were hand placed by Prime Kreations (as in one-by-one) to create these sparkling steppers. According to Carter, the high knee, slouchy fit boots pictured below, were actually re-purposed,blue denim "Y/Project" Boots that were dyed black, before being covered in the crystals. Custom Fredericks of Hollywood "rising Star" bra and panties designed by Candice Cuco, @lalabarness, and @erykavee. The gorgeous accessories were from one of my favorite brands,"AREA" .

As for the rest of the outfit; bra top was pulled form Fredericks of Hollywood, and the glitzy accessories were borrowed from one of my favorite brands,AREA.
Being able to choreograph an entire creative direction and mood for the styling of a shoot is something that has always amazed me. Being able to execute a vision so flawlessly seems so beyond comprehension at times. Stylists don't get enough credit for all the sleepless nights, planning and personal sacrifice they often put in to a project all to see a seemingly "crazy" "little" vision of theirs come to fruition.
