The lights dim and the show begins with one structural, declarative piece. A structured corseted top and bloomers- almost resembling undergarments from the 19th and early 20th centuries. Historically bloomer shorts were associated with women liberation movement and a challenge in the societal norms for the time which undeniably would have been unthinkable then, but today in modern times is channeled as a symbol of boldness. This is in sharp contrast to the structured corseted top for Look 1-valuing familiarity and the rigidity of what with whats traditionally accepted as feminine. New meets Old. Tradition vs. Innovation are the driving ideals behind Georges Hobeika's Haute Couture Fall 2025 collection.

This stunning collection fittingly titled "The New Order" contains 56 looks from the designer that show case mind-blowingly intricately sewn on crystals, eye catching strings of (what appear to be) pearls that captured the movement of the model with each step. The Lebanese designer is known for being a master artisan when it comes to creating small works of architecture on his garments. Fittingly enough, Hobeika studied civil engineering and architectural design, which (as one could imagine) deeply has shaped his approach to his designs.

The collection features gowns with classically timeless sillhouettes, contracted by the addition of floral appliques, glamorous crystals and beads as well as daring sheer material and blushey fabrics. The theme of structure was even extended to the hair, with noticibly, neatly shaped hair-do's for each model. Hobeika wanted this collection to encapulate how despite holding on to the past can plant seeds of self-doubt, we as people can push the needle forward by playing of the old and making it our own. Its ok to be confident and bold while being inspired by your past, whether your a designer or just a person wanting to be better in life.
