Serendipity in Soho: Discovering YiQi's Floral Fantasy Jacket

SO..Im enjoying this warm fall day in Soho when I casually wander into this small store. Pacing around, I pick items up, examine them, but ultimatley put them back down...until I spot HER. My fingers connect and are fixated on this one item; a shiny,black and pink jacket. plushy marshmallow like in texture, with these fun puffy 3-D like flowers sewn on to them. Naturally, I had to look into the the designer- YiQi (formally known as Leafxia on IG) is who came up. Xia is a Chinese fashion designer and Parsons graduate who's imaginative creations have captured the attention from high end retailers like Saks. Her work has earned her many coveted opportunites such as her Hello kitty collab collection featured ay NYFW and landing herself on the list of China Forbes 30 under 30.
