An Analysis of "Mirage Rose": Rowen Rose 2026 Milan Fashion week presentation

Rowen Rose is one of those brands that perfectly combines the energy of class and edginess so effortlessly. The fall Winter 26'/27' Milan Fashion week presentation was, according to the show's synopsis, drew upon "the spirit of Petra". Think abandoned ancient ruins: hand-carved monasteries into the pink sandstone in the middle of the desert. Petra, unironically enough, is nicknamed "the Rose City", and this show showed us what the citizens in RW's interpretation of "the rose city", would have worn in a fashionable, desert mirage.

The Fall winter collection boasted 62 pieces, consisting of warm, sandy desert hues. Many of the pieces rich in textures, ranging from ostrich feathers dyed brown and blue, to soft, silky dresses and cashmere knits. No dessert experience would be complete without headwear to complete the look, and that's something that was showcased very well. The color matching of the pill box hats to the outfits, and also the chic and stylish turbans, were a very smart and stylish way to complete the looks. The balance between flouncy, dessert wind-catching materials and structured jackets was something of note. The duality between sturdy and materials like fringe and neck tie blouses that capture every movement are the kind of visual contrasts that make this collection so interesting.

2026 has been the year for menswear, and Rowen Rose goes on to further prove that theory correct. We get to see the experimentation of "gem stone" brooches to finish off soft, sunset dyed soft knit tops and bottoms. Sleek croc skin bags are the jewel on top of these already visually rich looks.A personal favorite is the brown belted onesie and the croc skin bekted jacket. As we see the introduction of silhouettes and accessories once thought to be only reserved for women's wear, more and more eyes will be turning to menswear in the next coming seasons, not as an afterthought, but as an equal on the global fashion stage.
